    NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR OPEN DAYS

    Thursday, 19th June – 8:30am to 7:00pm
    Friday, 20th June – 8:30am to 1:00pm

    We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Nursing Home Administrator to join the team at our new Ethos Care home in Ballygunner, Waterford.

    This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key administrative role within a supportive, forward-thinking organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provide warm, professional administrative and customer service support to staff, residents, and visitors.
    • Act as the first point of contact at reception, welcoming guests in a friendly and caring manner.
    • Handle enquiries efficiently, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
    • Support day-to-day HR administration including filing, employee records, and payroll processes.
    • Manage resident accounts, supplier invoices, and other financial administration tasks.
    • Assist with general administrative duties including reports, letters, emails, and document management systems.
    • Maintain stock of resident folders and essential office supplies.
    • Support sustainability initiatives by helping reduce the home’s environmental impact.
    • Attend training sessions to develop skills and maintain up-to-date knowledge.
    • Work flexibly to meet the operational needs of the home.


    What We’re Looking For

    • Previous experience in office administration, ideally within a healthcare or nursing home setting.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems.
    • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
    • A qualification in Business, Administration, or Marketing is desirable (or currently working towards one).
    • A proactive, flexible, and team-focused approach.
