As a Multi-Task Attendant, you will support a range of services within the nursing home, including catering, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments.
• Support the Catering Supervisor/Cook in maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure food storage and handling procedures comply with regulations and best practice.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Support the delivery of balanced meals that meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursing home.
• Carry out cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, polishing, mopping, and sanitising.
• Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and dining rooms are welcoming and well maintained.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
• Sort, process, fold, and distribute residents' clothing and linen.
• Maintain high standards of laundry hygiene and quality.
• Assist with stock management and organisation of laundry supplies.
• Ensure all laundry procedures comply with health, safety, and infection control standards.
• Previous experience in a nursing home, healthcare, hospitality, catering, housekeeping, or laundry environment is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting older people and contributing to their quality of life.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.
• Good awareness of health, safety, hygiene, and infection prevention practices.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required.
• Relevant training certificates are desirable; training can be provided where necessary.
