    What You’ll Do:

    • Plan, organise, and facilitate a diverse range of social, recreational, and wellbeing programmes that support residents’ emotional, physical, and cognitive wellbeing.

    • Create person-centred experiences that promote purpose, joy, and a sense of belonging.

    • Support residents to maintain independence, connection, and engagement with the community.

    • Coordinate and host events, celebrations, and therapeutic activities that enrich daily life.

    • Set up and maintain safe, welcoming spaces for social and wellbeing activities.

    • Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the local community.

    • Maintain accurate records of participation and wellbeing outcomes.

    • Model and promote the ethos of person-centred, holistic care throughout your work.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a related field.

    • Additional training in Care of the Older Person, Dementia Care, or Palliative Care is a plus (or willingness to complete).

    • Valid certifications: CPR, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Safeguarding (training available if needed).

    • Experience working in elderly care within a residential setting.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm, empathetic approach.

    • Creative talents or special skills (e.g., music, gardening, arts and crafts, reminiscence therapy) are an advantage.

    • Full Irish Driver’s Licence required.
