Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) – Ethos Care 

(Opening Early 2026 – Haven Wood Retirement Home & Village, Ballygunner, Waterford)

Ethos Care is recruiting a compassionate and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) who will play a key role in shaping the delivery of person-centred, high-quality care in our new nursing home opening in Ballygunner, Waterford.

About the Role

As a CNM, you will support the Person in Charge in leading the nursing team, maintaining clinical excellence, and ensuring the home operates in line with HIQA standards and Ethos policies. You will contribute to creating a warm and supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, clinical supervision, and guidance to nursing and care teams.

• Support the PIC with the overall management and operation of the nursing home.

• Promote and uphold a person-centred culture aligned with Ethos values.

• Contribute to safeguarding through effective oversight and reporting.

• Maintain a caring, respectful environment that addresses residents’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

• Work flexibly, including day, night, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Third-level nursing degree and active NMBI registration with PIN.

• Minimum 6 years post-registration nursing experience.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a nursing home setting.

• Management experience is desirable.

• Post-registration qualification in healthcare management (or willingness to undertake).

• Demonstrated clinical competency and passion for high-quality elder care.
