What You’ll Do:
Prepare and cook wholesome, high-quality meals and home baking for our residents.
Work closely with the Catering Supervisor to plan menus that meet the individual needs and preferences of residents.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, Fire Safety, and food handling regulations at all times.
Keep accurate records of food orders, deliveries, and stock levels, following best practice and legislation.
Help maintain food cost targets through careful budgeting and menu planning.
Contribute to a warm, person-centred care environment, building positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
Support inspections and audits, always aiming for excellence.
Bring a positive attitude, sense of humour, and team spirit to your work.
Be available to work across weekdays and weekends, as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Valid certificates in Food Handling, HACCP, Manual Handling, and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (we can provide training if needed).
Previous experience cooking nutritious meals, ideally for older adults.
A passion for creating enjoyable food experiences.
A strong commitment to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
