What You’ll Do
Be the first point of contact, offering a warm and professional welcome to residents, visitors, and staff
Manage incoming calls efficiently, directing queries and taking clear messages
Support residents’ families with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication
Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area and oversee front-of-house presentation
Handle deliveries, post, and supplies—keeping everything organised and well-stocked
Monitor visitor logs and assist with security procedures
Coordinate resident visits and support daily activities
Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, scanning, and minute-taking
Work closely with the Office Administrator and management team to ensure smooth daily operations
Participate in training and development opportunities
Be flexible with availability, including occasional evenings and weekends
What We’re Looking For
Previous reception or administrative experience (healthcare or nursing home experience is an advantage)
A friendly, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management
A qualification in Customer Service, Administration, or Business (desirable)
